SORA FACE

The SORA FACE is based on the Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face. One of the most recognized fuzz pedals, introduced in 1966.

 

A germanium fuzz that can be heard on songs by Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour and Stevie Ray Vaughan. What makes the Fuzz Face special is its rich, mellow fuzz tone and its ability to clean up as you turn down the volume pot on your guitar.

 

 

Controls:

 

Volume: Adjust the level of the pedal and will have more headroom than an original.

Fuzz: The usual Fuzz potentiometer is internal and is preset at maximum and has been replaced on top by an input gain. Original is at maximum.

 

BIAS: Adjust the BIAS of the second transistor from gated to over-biased. Original BIAS is around 2-3PM.
